Health Education  


Purpose 

- This websites purpose is to promote the Society for Public Health Education which is a nonprofit, independent association that represents a diverse membership of health promotion and health education professionals and students in the United States and several international countries. SOPHE members work in businesses, schools, colleges, universities, nonprofit organizations, hospitals, health care settings, worksites, and in local, state, and federal government agencies.


Navigation 

- Navigation on this website is very easy to go from sections with bold lettering, the colors aren't too wild or overbearing. While it is easy to navigate the website it's even easier to learn about their scholarships and donation process. I truly like the setup of the website because it also gives out detailed information on the organization and how it could benefit others.


Additional information 

- While looking through the website I found an interesting section discussing their strategic plan set for 2021-2025. https://www.sophe.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/05/Strategic-Plan.pdf 
- Another good section I found was the history behind the organization they explain in-depth. They have different layouts on the history project dates back as far as the 1900s. https://www.sophe.org/about/history/. 


Audience 

The intended audience are those who support leaders in education and help promote health education. I would like to see the school system promote the importance of national health education within the school systems. I believe education professionals do not get enough support or recognition they deserve. Everyone should know how important it is to promote health among education professionals.

The plan is to promote coordination of vision and eye care health, fundraising and making the proper approach.  Additional Resources         - While exploring the website I noticed that there were more articles and menu options rather than links to their information.
